Elderly and Nursing Home Missions

Nursing home services bless all who attend.

On the first two Wednesday evenings of every month, if you visit us at Berea Health Care Center in Berea, Kentucky, you will see something very special.

Tired minds and bodies begin to come to life as music fills the halls of an otherwise quiet setting.  Wheelchairs are rolled in, and facility workers, residents, and family members take a few moments to share in a special worship service that is just for them.

Started in 2006, Bark Road’s nursing home ministry has become a blessing to both the residents and the church members who attend.  Those who used to walk by, stop now and listen.  Employees who didn’t have time to take a break, find a minute to listen to the Word of God, and enjoy a song before they head back to work.

Prayer requests are shared, and we even take a song request here and there—we are proud to bring Christ to those who otherwise may not have the opportunity to hear it.
